This piazza is just magically, architecturally perfect! As soon as you get off the metro in the Garibaldi stop you can walk right across and ahhhh, there it is ::heart eyes::
There's just something about this place that I love, any time of the day that you come it's so pleasant and enjoyable. If you come during the day for a quick supermarket run downstairs just the breeze and the buildings make you feel so happy. If you come read a book at the Feltrinelli or grab a quick aperitivo in their outside seating area, you will have the best view with the plaza.
I just love grabbing a gelato at Venchi Gelateria and sitting down whenever I can with the sound of the water and breeze. The perfect afternoon for a thoughtless day.
This plaza is great, in a hot summery day, tourists always love to jump in the little fountain/water area and it's the perfect spot to cool off yourself or your four paw friend. Great piazza! You will love it! -

Milan's history is represented by the grand Piazza del Duomo, but Piazza Gae Aulenti is the essence of the modern and fashionable Milan!
Designed by and named after the man behind Paris's famous Musee d'Orsay, the elevated Piazza Gae Aulenti is a prominent "hidden gem" that many visitors tend to miss! Although it is in the midst of skyscrapers, the piazza's design nonetheless makes you feel integrated with the surrounding towers rather than overwhelmed by them.
Strange - but you just have to feel it yourself!
In fact, come at nighttime when the Piazza is the most beautiful! Located near the main station Milano Centrale and next to the major transport hub Milano Porta Garibaldi, this piazza is incredibly easy to reach, and I would highly recommend making your way to witness this impressive representation of the modern and perhaps the future Milan! -

What a beautiful piazza right next to the Garibaldi FS.
The UniCredit towers appear like two curved wings at the crest of a hillside. This is the 2nd largest building in Milano.
The Piazza at the street level is still new and the retail spaces of the Towers still have openings. The shops that are there are premium brands which will serve the tower occupants well (Sephora, La Feltrinelli, Illy caffe, etcetera).
A cascade of stairs or ramps are downhill making it easy to stroll up or down.
Being steps away from the Brera neighborhood makes this location for an office very attractive.
One can have lunch at any number of ristorantes, pizzerias, or cafes.
How fitting for this modern space to reflect the stylish feeling of an ever-changing Milan. -

Stunning square really. Modern looking, full of restaurants/cafes, very clean, well kept, and gorgeous. The fountains in the middle are that extra that gives it also a fun touch. I'd definitely recommend to grab a bite in this place, it's also good for drinks around 6 pm, sunset time here I magic. Go have a nice walk in Gae Aulenti!
